For the first time since its operation 26 years ago, the Direct Reduction Plant’s third unit has reached its production target of 650,000 tons of hot briquetted iron, which is the plant’s design capacity.
An event was held yesterday evening, Saturday, at the Direct Reduction Plant to celebrate this achievement, attended by the Chairman of the Board and several officials. This milestone adds to the many accomplishments achieved thanks to God’s grace first and foremost, and then the dedication of the committed men.
“650,000” tons is not just a number but a significant challenge that was met with the strong commitment of the dedicated workers. We extend our gratitude to them and to the support staff from FGE for their efforts.
Reaching the design capacity despite complex technical issues is an achievement that is a source of great pride and honor.
We wish for continued success and leadership.
