In an atmosphere filled with loyalty and acknowledgment, on Monday, the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Malik Al-Faqih, along with several company officials, welcomed Mr. Salah El-Din Aakif Amseik.
Mr. Aakif, with heartfelt emotions that transported him back 40 years, reminisced about the early challenges and difficulties of the company’s establishment during his youth.
During the honorary chairmanship of the meeting held in honor of his visit, Mr. Aakif expressed his admiration for the work and significant changes he observed, as well as the company’s achievements despite the difficult conditions in the country, especially in the industrial sector. He also praised the preservation of the company’s assets and ongoing work, along with the development that has taken place, wishing for the continued prosperity of the company he loved and cared for during its early establishment.
Dr. Al-Faqih, on the occasion of this visit, praised the pioneering generation and their foundational role in establishing the iron and steel industry in the country. He affirmed that their efforts in the establishment are greatly appreciated and respected by everyone, management and employees alike, and that they will always be remembered with gratitude and praise from generation to generation.
On the sidelines of the visit, the Chairman and members of the committee tasked with preparing the historical book about the company inquired with the guest about various topics related to the early days and establishment.
The visit concluded with a tour of some of the company’s factories.
