Today, a meeting was held in the conference hall of the administrative building between the company management and the National Atomic Energy Authority, with the presence of Mr. Mustafa Al-Qadeem, representing the Environmental Police Department.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Malik Al-Faqih, who welcomed the attendees and expressed the company’s full readiness to cooperate in the field of radiation sources through continuous communication between the two parties.
Dr. Hashimi Mohamed Al-Abyad, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Authority, emphasized the importance of this meeting, which aims to form a joint committee to conduct radiological surveys of radioactive sources. The authority will also work on training company personnel to assist in the re-export of radioactive sources that have reached half of their expected lifespan.
