In line with the requirements of the external market according to the British standard BS4449 for reinforcing steel, and after producing more than 10,000 tons of 14 mm steel with technical specifications of grade B500B and exceeding 99% quality, the officials of the Rod Rolling Mill 2 factory confirmed that they have worked on modifying and preparing the rolling line to be able to produce 12 mm steel according to the required grade and specification.
The officials added that they are following production plans according to local and external market demands, and it is expected that sizes of “8-10-16-20 mm” will be produced in the coming days.
