In the presence of the Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mohamed Abdelmalek Al-Faqih, and several senior officials of the company, a session on carbon footprint was held this morning, Wednesday, in the company’s main hall.
The discussion was chaired by Dr. Mustafa Al-Sharbeni, European Climate Charter Ambassador and international expert in sustainability and climate risk assessment.
The session began with a focused lecture on the concept of carbon footprint and the importance of calculating it in line with international standards. It also included a review of key greenhouse gas emission indicators according to official reports.
This lecture was part of the Renewable Energy and Environment Organization’s initiative and the company’s efforts to integrate and dedicate its local and international efforts regarding climate change.
