Under the official sponsorship of the company, the First International Scientific Conference on Libyan Scientific Texts kicked off this Saturday morning at the Training Center, under the theme “Our Texts… Our Identity.” The event was marked by distinguished scholarly attendance, bringing together a group of scholars and researchers from across Libya.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Mohamed Abdelmalek Al-Faqih, emphasized the importance of this event as a reflection of the company’s commitment to supporting scientific and cultural activities that promote Libyan identity.
The conference also witnessed notable international participation from scholars and researchers from Tunisia, Morocco, and Mauritania, adding a shared Maghreb dimension and enriching the sessions with a spirit of scientific and cultural cooperation among the countries of the region.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Sharia Sciences – Zawiyat Al-Mahjoub, under the supervision of Al-Asmariya Islamic University, and will continue over two days in an atmosphere of intellectual and academic engagement. It aims to highlight Libyan scientific texts and shed light on their pivotal role in enhancing national cultural and scientific awareness.
