This Privacy Policy explains how Libyan Iron and Steel Company, referred to in this policy as “the Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us”, collects, uses, protects, and manages data when users access or use the LISCO Auctions mobile application.

LISCO Auctions is designed to display and manage auctions related to the Company. The application may allow authorized users to sign in, view available auctions, review auction details, submit bids or offers, and upload documents required by the Company’s auction procedures.

User data is used only for purposes related to operating the auction services, verifying user eligibility, managing auction participation, processing submitted offers, and performing related official Company procedures.

User identity documents, submitted attachments, and auction-related records are not displayed publicly to other users unless such disclosure is required by the official auction process or applicable rules.

  • Data transmitted between the application and our systems should be protected using encrypted connections such as HTTPS/TLS.

Some records related to submitted bids, auction participation, approvals, guarantees, financial or administrative documents, and official Company procedures may be retained for a longer period when required for legal, regulatory, audit, compliance, dispute resolution, or security purposes.

When data is no longer required, we may delete it, anonymize it, or securely archive it according to applicable internal procedures.

Account and Data Deletion Request

The request form allows users to provide the required details, including full name, registered phone number, email address, request type, and request message.

After receiving a deletion request, we will verify the requester’s identity and then delete or anonymize the account information associated with the user, including login and profile data, unless certain records must be retained for legal, security, audit, compliance, dispute resolution, or auction-related obligations.

Some data related to auction participation, submitted bids, approvals, guarantees, financial records, audit trails, or official Company procedures may be retained where necessary for compliance, legal, audit, dispute resolution, or security purposes.

Users may also use the same form to request correction, update, or deletion of certain data without deleting the entire account, where such request is technically and legally possible.

Subject to applicable laws, Company procedures, and the nature of the auction process, users may contact us to request:

  • Access to certain personal data associated with their account.
  • Correction or update of inaccurate account or profile information.
  • Deletion of account data, subject to any legally required or operationally necessary retention.
