The interest in environment management, based on the application of scientific principles and engineering in order to improve and secure the labour and the workand surrounding environment, in order to maintain human health in particular and the health of the rest of the natural components of society in general, for the purpose of treating effects resulting from human activity that makes a change in the natural environment either through the issuance of emissions or pollutants effect environment nature.

This is what was adopted by the company of programs concerned with the environment through, searching for projects, systems and programs that simulate these problems, and attention mainly on the development of existing facilities and the search for new and alternative technologies for environment protection and for the proper management of natural resources. As well as search for an integrated technological solutions for resource management and waste recycling and diverse sources away "from environment degradation and dissemination of all forms of pollution.

    Taking into account when   started to build this  large industrial compound to design its plants and facilities  In line with international standards in the field of pollution control and protection of the environment by providing plants  And many of the company's facilities for the control of emissions through   emissions and pollutants, whether (gaseous, solid, liquid) and so as to maintain the overall environment and the control of these pollutants the importance of environment Systems is as following: -

  • protection of workers and the work environment from pollution.
  • protection of the environment and the surrounding from pollution.
  • protect the humans from the dangers of emissions.
  • energy conservations and improvement of product quality

the following  systems are attached to the company's plants and facilities as follows: -

 1. waste gases systems

These are instruments for control of emissions which take samples of the air passing through the burning chimneys and analysed and shown graphically on the control panels to determine the emission rate

Components: air pumps to withdraw the burning air and analysis and rates display unit ​​to show light and sound alert signals In addition to the chimneys.

Their places: The following sites (electricity and desalination plant, dri plant, long rolling mills, flat rolling mills, lime plant).

Purpose: These systems monitor the following emissions (nitrogen oxides, sulphur oxides, smoke)

2. Dust systems

these equipment to deal with dust, through which dust is withdrawn by suction fans from belts and equipment and collected dust is pumped into the vessels.

3. deposition systems:

4. Early warning systems:

It is a equipment to monitor emissions of carbon monoxide in the region and warn about it

5. rainwater pumping stations

They are stations to control rain water including but not allowing plankton to accompany the water when discharged, where the water accumulate through water drainage across the floor of channels until it reaches a certain level, then the pumps start drainage process, and if the presence of plankton (wood, leaves, dust, scale, oils, greases, ..) is scrubbed from the basins by the crane attached to the station to the designated area.

Components: submersible Pumps, sedimentation and water collection basins,  cranes

Their places: The company has (6)stations distributed at distances of several rooms attached to the discharge station

 Purpose: to get rid of rainwater and other drainage water through the attached drain rooms.
